Visionary & Master Plumber
Warren Stroud is the Founder and Master Plumber behind Plumbing Outfitters. He began his plumbing career as an apprentice in 2005 and, over the years, developed expertise across nearly every facet of the trade — from new construction and remodels to residential service plumbing. That broad foundation, combined with a relentless commitment to craftsmanship, led him to establish Plumbing Outfitters. Today, Warren is passionate about raising the standard of the plumbing profession: restoring professionalism, integrity, and exceptional craftsmanship to an industry where homeowners often struggle to know who they can trust. As a Master Plumber and industry leader, he remains committed to developing skilled tradespeople, serving the Central Texas community, and ensuring every customer receives honest recommendations and quality work that stands the test of time.

Co-Owner, COO & Master Plumber
Ashley Stroud is a Master Plumber, Co-Owner, and Chief Operating Officer of Plumbing Outfitters. As the company grew, Ashley became increasingly involved in every aspect of the business — from operations and marketing to recruiting, finance, and strategic leadership. Wanting to lead with both business expertise and technical credibility, she pursued her plumbing licenses while helping grow the company, ultimately earning her Master Plumber license. She believes strong leadership begins with understanding the trade, and has worked to become as confident on the technical side of the industry as she is in leading the business. Today, Ashley is passionate about developing leaders, mentoring the next generation of skilled trades professionals, and building a company where employees build meaningful careers while customers receive an exceptional experience. She believes businesses have the opportunity to elevate both the trades and the communities they serve through integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continual improvement.

Yes. Plumbing Outfitters is a licensed and insured, master-plumber-owned company (License M-41984). Every job is performed to code under our Responsible Master Plumber.
Are your plumbers background-checked? +
Yes. Every technician is background-checked and part of a drug-free workplace, so you always know who's coming into your home.
Will I get the same quality of service no matter who shows up? +
That's the whole point of our CHAMPS culture. Our process is systemized and every guide is trained to the same standard — so you get a consistent, respectful, 5-star visit regardless of which team member arrives.
How big is the Plumbing Outfitters team? +
We're a team of 29 — large enough to deliver world-class, same-day service across Central Texas, but still family-owned with a main-street-plumber feel.
Will Warren, the original plumber/owner, come to my house? +
Maybe… but probably not. When Plumbing Outfitters started, Warren was the plumber, dispatcher, estimator, and occasionally the guy answering the phone. These days, his job is making sure our entire team can take care of you the way he would. While Warren still gets involved in unusual or complex plumbing situations, most service calls are handled by one of our licensed Plumbing Outfitters technicians. And yes - we promise Warren really does still know how to use a wrench!
Is my plumbing problem the weirdest thing you've ever seen? +
Almost certainly not. After years of plumbing in Central Texas, it takes quite a bit to surprise us. So go ahead and tell us what happened. We promise to keep a straight face.
Can I follow the plumber around and ask questions? +
Please do. We actually like customers who want to understand what's happening in their home. Ask questions, look over our shoulder, and let us show you what we found. Our job isn't just to fix it—it's to help you make an informed decision about it.
Are you going to try to sell me a bunch of stuff I don't need? +
Nope. That sounds exhausting for both of us. We'll inspect the problem, explain what we find, and give you options when options make sense. You decide what you want to do. We fix plumbing—we don't push sales.
